Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Sous Chef to oversee kitchen operations, lead our culinary team, and drive menu innovation. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and a passion for excellence.
  • Menu Planning and Development
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative, seasonal menus that showcase our commitment to quality and freshness.
    • Develop and implement new recipes, ensuring they meet our high standards and appeal to our customers.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation.
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain
    • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal levels.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators, such as food costs, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide regular reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of menu innovation, leadership, and team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends, food safety protocols, and inventory management practices.
