Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES & SALADS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
- Attention to detail
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player
