Supporting Student Success: Educational Assistant Opportunity

The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to support the learning needs of our students from kindergarten through grade seven. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with a variety of academic and behavioral needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation, as needed
- Provide one-on-one support to students, as required
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Certification from a recognized program, an asset
- Experience working with children of elementary age, an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
