We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Cora Breakfast and Lunch. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of Cora Breakfast and Lunch.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Adaptability: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
