We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is presented to a high standard.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take responsibility for cleaning kitchen and work areas.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and to a high standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
