Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at CB Canada. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in good working condition
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to food specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of product in stations as prescribed in the BOH audit and per daily pars
- Opening/closing the line at the beginning or end of the day
- Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
- Exhibit personal uniform and personal hygiene per company standards
- Execution of all cleaning checklists to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen/workstation
- Able to fulfill dish-washing duties when needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organization, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Previous kitchen/cooking experience
- $16.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
- Permanent role with full benefits
- 40 hours per week
