Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Investment Advisor to provide expert advice on investment strategies, taxation, securities, insurance, retirement plans, and real estate, as well as help clients establish personalized financial plans. The ideal candidate will leverage their in-depth knowledge and expertise to deliver complex financial solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and advice to meet their financial goals.
  • Develop and implement customized investment plans, leveraging RBC's extensive resources and expertise.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, delivering personalized service and tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with RBC partners to provide comprehensive support to clients across various aspects of their financial lives.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have



  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience, with a strong track record of success in high-value sales and business development.
  • Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or will prior to start date.
  • A passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:



  • Experience in direct marketing, financial services, and high-value sales and business development.
  • Completed the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
