Dishroom Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Coordinator to join our team at Chianti Cafe & Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Operating dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware
• Washing and sanitizing dishes and other items by hand
• Scouring pots and pans
• Using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
• Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• Handling and storing cleaning products
• Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
• Removing kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $40,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
