About the Opportunity

The Physiotherapy Resident is a key member of our rehabilitation team, responsible for assessing and treating patients with various physical conditions.

As a physiotherapist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment programs that help patients regain optimal function and mobility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose and treat patients' physical impairments and disabilities
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and function
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or entry-level Master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
Compensation and Benefits

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $33.97 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
