About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Contract Manager to join our team at CDW in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple contracts, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and maximizing contract revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide program management support for special contract vehicles to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Manage and develop direct reports, including Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, and Contract Analyst/Administrators.
- Responsible for a full range of contracts with customers and/or partners, including Master Purchase Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Referral Agreements, and others.
- Draft or review completed drafts of appropriate amendments and other contract documents throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Monitor delivery and key elements of CDW and subcontractor performance, while coordinating with other CDW departments to ensure contract requirements are satisfied.
- Develop and manage technology improvement strategies, maintaining backward compatibility with user-installed base.
- Facilitate preliminary dispute resolution and coordinate with the CDW Legal department as necessary, to maintain customer satisfaction and bring prompt closure to certain contract disputes.
- Make recommendations regarding the pursuit and discontinuance of transactional and contractual relationships, including associated subcontracts and prime contracts, and manage and terminate them as necessary.
- Provide direction and review of technical solutions of projects, assisting in the development of project plans, staffing plans, and management plans.
- Supervise, coach, and develop one or more coworkers supporting the portfolio of contracts.
- Review order configuration and resolve issues.
- Prepare contract deliverable reports, keep abreast of contractual terms and conditions, and assist in the preparation of contract modifications for price reductions, additions, discontinuances, and replacements of product, as well as version changes.
- Provide consultation, direction, and motivation of other coworkers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years relevant experience managing or negotiating contracts in IT or comparable industry.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
- Possesses strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Possess understanding of contract processes, requirements, and practices applicable to the sector supported.
- Contract experience or relevant CDW customer-related experience.
- Capable of extracting and analyzing contract data, and determining best tactics to enhance margins within contracts.
- Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive materials such as legal documents, authoritative reports, official publications of major scope and impact.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% or as needed to other CDW locations, meetings, and client sites.
- MBA preferred.
- Certified by a recognized contract management association.
- Proficient in MS Access and other databases.
- Previous management experience.
Salary Range
The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
