Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist

Closing the Gap Healthcare is a leading provider of home-based and community healthcare services. We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Muskoka, Ontario.

About the Role

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who can provide integrated therapy services to our clients in their homes. As a member of our team, you will work with adults and occasionally with pediatric clients to assess and develop personalized therapy care plans. Your expertise will be invaluable in promoting client safety, developing health promotion programs, and prescribing equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop accurate therapy care plans for clients in their homes
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to build holistic treatment goals and service plans
  • Develop health promotion programs and prescribe equipment and supplies as needed
  • Work with clients and their families to promote client safety and well-being

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized post-secondary program
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
