About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic assessments, interventions, and follow-ups related to respiratory therapy, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and mechanical ventilation support.

  2. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient records, reports, and workload statistics.

  3. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care goals, therapeutic strategies, and program-related issues.

  4. Monitor and maintain respiratory and related equipment, reporting supply needs as required.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

  • Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam.

  • Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).

  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
