At Great Lakes College of Science and Technology, we are seeking a visionary leader to fill the role of President and Chief Operating Officer. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams. You will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies to drive business growth and success.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establishing objectives for the organization and formulating or approving policies and programs
  • Representing the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Selecting middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegating necessary authority and creating optimum working conditions
  • Conducting performance reviews and writing technical reports
  • Assessing physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
  • Establishing financial and administrative controls and approving overall human resources planning

In addition to your leadership skills, you will also be responsible for:

  • Having a strong understanding of computer and technology knowledge, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and XML Technology (XSL, XSD, DTD)
  • Having experience in management and being able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Having excellent written communication skills and being able to make sound judgments
  • Being organized and able to work under pressure
