Role Overview
Candidates are sought after to fill the position of a Course Developer, specifically focused on creating high-quality courses in the field of Business Information Systems and Emerging Technologies. This role involves collaboration with senior faculty members and instructional designers to design engaging course materials, including lectures, multimedia resources, assessments, and learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Associate Dean in understanding learning objectives, course content, and instructional materials for new courses
- Design and develop interactive course materials, incorporating innovative instructional strategies and educational technologies to enhance student engagement and active learning
- Utilize instructional design principles to ensure quality standards, accessibility guidelines, and student learning outcomes are met
- Work collaboratively with instructional designers and multimedia specialists to integrate diverse perspectives and expertise into course development

Requirements
- PhD in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in online course development, the instructional design process, or curriculum design in a higher education setting
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theories and assessment strategies
- Proficiency with course development tools, learning management systems (e.g., Brightspace, Canvas, Blackboard)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, AODA) and experience designing inclusive learning environments
