Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service: Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment: Ensure the dining area, bar, and restrooms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Upsell and promote menu items: Recommend menu items and promotions to guests to increase sales and revenue.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions: Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Work effectively in a team: Collaborate with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu and promotions: Stay up-to-date on menu items, prices, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards: Follow proper food handling and preparation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy dining environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous serving experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Smart Serve Certification: Must be certified in Smart Serve or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
