As a Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech II - CES) with 0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc., you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other equipment components
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as heavy equipment repair or maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
