We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech II - CES) to join our team at United Rentals of Canada, Inc. As a member of our Service Department, you will have the chance to showcase your expertise in maintaining and repairing customer-owned equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various customer equipment and tools
  • Document work performed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Upsell and demonstrate equipment to customers, highlighting its features and benefits
  • Travel to customer job sites for equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with equipment and parts delivery, ensuring seamless logistics and customer support
  • Other duties as assigned by management, aligned with company goals and objectives
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, ensuring safe and responsible vehicle operation
  • 1-2 years of experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance, with a focus on heavy equipment and diesel systems
  • Own tools required for the position, with a commitment to maintaining and updating them as needed
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and schematics, with the ability to interpret and apply technical information
  • Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering results
  • Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
