Cummins Diesel Technician Job

We are seeking a skilled Cummins Diesel Technician to join our team at Bayview Trucks - Bathurst. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with X15 engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems, and suspension systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair issues with X15 engines, power trains, and other related systems.
  • Utilize Insite and EDS to navigate and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Write clear and concise repair stories for customer and warranty work.
  • Follow SRT protocols and identify warrantable repairs.
  • Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repair resolution.

Requirements

  • College certification in Truck and Transport.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a service environment.
  • Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work in Windows-based software.
