Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TI Enterprises Ltd. as a key member of our culinary department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock levels, and other key performance indicators, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of departmental activities.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and other tasks as required, ensuring that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules for the food service team, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, or staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a demanding environment.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
