Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at AV Advisory & Investments Ltd. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintain general ledgers and financial statements, and post journal entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, and prepare tax returns.
  • Record Keeping: Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and valid driver's licence.
