About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Elite Home Care Ltd. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Personal Hygiene: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Conduct: Possess a valid Certificate of Conduct.
  • First Aid Certificate: Hold a current First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Reference: Provide a reliable reference.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes and may be exposed to physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
