About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Worker to join our team at Home Sweet Home Care Agency Inc. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide supportive care to our elderly and senior clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for our clients.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Cooking: Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for our clients, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Maintain up-to-date certificates and licenses, including a Certificate of Conduct and First Aid Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of our clients and their homes, including conducting criminal record checks and obtaining references.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent personal suitability, including punctuality, client focus, dependability, and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Financial Benefits: Receive competitive financial benefits, including as per collective agreement, permanent employment, and 25 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Work in the employer's/client's home.
  • Target Audience: Elderly and females.
