Job Summary

Vention Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Developer to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation in AI and controls. As a key member of our software team, you will be responsible for guiding technology choices and architecture design, leading high-impact projects, and driving forward product and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Vention's AI technical roadmap in collaboration with the CTO.
  • Create proof of concepts for key AI sub-systems and identify path forward for productization.
  • Investigate the potential of mission-based AI concepts to simplify programming of machines.
  • Own the technical advancement of our AI partnerships.
  • Tackle difficult and complex AI & Machine Learning problems to deliver our product roadmap and technology stack.
  • Collaborate with Vention's technical leaders to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software, AI, and robotics technologies.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning / AI projects with proven commercial use cases.
  • Experience in designing responsive systems (embedded and cloud/web).
  • Understanding of distributed system design and the related technical challenges.
  • A strong ownership of all aspects throughout the SDLC and beyond.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, to show ownership over full, end-to-end solutions.
  • Love of new challenges and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
