As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multiple high-impact projects and driving forward several product and technology initiatives in the field of AI and controls.

You will guide the organization in solving difficult problems and paving the way on several technical fronts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead multiple high-impact projects and drive forward several product and technology initiatives in the field of AI and controls.
* Guide the organization in solving difficult problems and paving the way on several technical fronts.
* Help grow the next generation of AI experts and technology leaders within Vention.
* Collaborate with the CTO to build, refine, and maintain Vention's AI technical roadmap.
* Create proof of concepts for key AI sub-systems and identify path forward for productization.
* Investigate the potential of mission-based AI concepts to simplify programming of machines.
* Own the technical advancement of AI partnerships.
* Tackle difficult and complex AI & Machine Learning problems to deliver the product roadmap and technology stack.
* Collaborate with Vention's technical leaders to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
* Keep up to date with the latest software, AI, and robotics technologies.

Requirements:

* 10+ years experience in software development.
* 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning / AI projects with proven commercial use cases.
* Experience in designing responsive systems (embedded and cloud/web).
* Understanding of distributed system design and the related technical challenges.
* A strong ownership of all aspects throughout the SDLC and beyond.
* Strong sense of responsibility, to show ownership over full, end-to-end solutions.
* Love of new challenges and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
