About the Role

We're seeking a highly collaborative and driven Technical Director to lead our Advanced Analytics and ML Services team. As a key member of our data and analytics team, you'll help guide the technical direction of our foundational production-grade systems that support R&D and exploratory stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion cross-functional Machine Learning integration efforts, driving integrations across the data ecosystem
  • Work closely with stakeholders, software and data programming teams, and analytics leadership to prioritize solutions and ensure incremental delivery in ways that drive the most impact
  • Lead and mentor Data Scientists and programmers across the organization
  • Collaborate with other technical leaders across Epic to foster cross-company visibility and alignment on technical approaches
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level Data Science and Machine Learning Programming experience in a data-driven information environment
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership role
  • Deep experience and familiarity with cloud-based big data tools and services for real-time and batch ML applications
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages (Python preferred, Scala and Java beneficial, GoLang is also a plus)
