Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning will play a critical role in driving the company's supply chain strategy and ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing forecasting models, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to predict demand for Apotex's products.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform supply chain decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide analytical support to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve supply chain performance.
  • Develop and maintain departmental forecasting tools and methodologies to ensure continuous accuracy improvement.
  • Perform analyses at the portfolio, family, molecule, and/or SKU level to formulate recommendations in support of product viability, SKU rationalization, and product optimization.
  • Guide junior analysts on current methodologies and best practices, share new analytical techniques.
  • Work in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education: University Degree in Business or related field.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced analytical and technical abilities with a sound knowledge of quantitative decision models, Strong track record of process design and process improvement, Excellent written and verbal communication, Detail oriented, diplomatic team player with a proactive results orientation, Able to work with a minimum of supervision and manage cross-functional project teams, Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as enterprise software systems.
  • Experience: 5+ years experience in a forecast analyst, or demand planning role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
