At Lifemark, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning in a clinic setting, conducting job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and cognitive abilities evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Provide education to clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management, collaborating with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students, if preferred.
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs.
  • Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WCB referrals is an asset.
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
