Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Groupe Polygon. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring that goods are properly secured and protected from damage.
  • Inventory Management: Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure that items are properly stored and maintained in our warehouse.
  • Order Preparation: Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling items, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Material Handling: Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Inventory Control: Participate in inventory counts and ensure that our inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, cleaning, and performing other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in receiving and shipping, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Language: Proficiency in spoken and written French required; basic knowledge of spoken and written English an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift or move loads of 50-60 pounds repeatedly, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Skills: Strong customer service and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
