Job Description: Part-time Facilitator - Data Analytics for HR

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to teach the course entitled Data Analytics for HR as part of our Professional and Part-Time Learning (PPL) initiative. This course will be delivered online, and we require a qualified facilitator to lead this educational opportunity.

The successful candidate will possess excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse student backgrounds and experiences. Experience in data analytics would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters engagement and understanding among students
  • Utilizing principles of adult education to actively engage students in the learning process
  • Effectively using educational technologies to support learning and manage grades
  • Developing curriculum that incorporates relevant strategies and tools to assess student learning
  • Maintaining current and relevant course content
  • Working independently and demonstrating initiative
  • Collaborating effectively with students, program teams, and various stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years' recent industry experience related to the topic being taught
  • Holds a Master's degree (or higher) in Business or a related field; a Bachelor or Master of Education, or Certified Human Resources Professional designation are considered assets
  • Experience in data analytics would be considered an asset
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level or within a business environment, with demonstrated application of adult educational principles and teaching/assessment methodologies
  • Superior skills in verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Track record in meeting deadlines
  • Experience in the use of technology to support student learning and manage grades
  • Self-motivated and independent worker who also functions well in a team environment
  • Committed to life-long learning
  • Understanding of the Ontario community college system
