Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing department mail, ensuring compliance with company policies, and processing financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
- Process financial transactions, including verifying, logging, and mailing checks
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
- Assist internal business partners with customer service needs
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
- Complete special projects as needed
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or similar preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
