Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, from receiving and processing invoices to paying vendors and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
  • Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
  • Process and verify invoices, checks, and other financial documents
  • Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger and process payments
  • Provide administrative support to the AP/Finance Department
  • Assist internal business partners with customer service needs
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or similar field
  • 3+ years of experience in an A/P role
