Job Title: RTU/PLC Application Engineer

Job Summary:

Prodigy Tech Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled RTU/PLC Application Engineer to join our team in North-Western Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning advanced RTU and PLC applications in high-level programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in system application designs and client meetings
  • Design, develop, commission, and test advanced RTU and PLC applications
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers
  • Onsite support and product training for customer technicians
  • Document tasks and workloads for every project

Requirements:

  • Graduate engineer with experience in programming
  • Experience in the automation industry is an advantage
  • Ability to understand customer material and technical requirement specifications
  • Comfortable acting as technical liaison between the company and customer's technical specialists and supplier's technical specialists
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Application for workstation and Server environments
  • High level of knowledge of network communication and industrial communication
  • Ability to comprehend accurately customer wants and needs and provide solutions
  • High level of communication skills especially in English

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
