Key Responsibilities:
  • Zone Management: Maintain a clean and organized environment in the produce area, ensuring that all products are properly signed and priced.
  • Inventory Management: Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure freshness and quality, adhering to food safety and handling procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandise Management: Ensure that the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Health and Safety: Follow Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, adhering to sanitation and cleaning protocols.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
