Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Private Markets. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports for a portfolio of investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly fund administration deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage NAV, valuation, and transaction processes, including ownership, capital queue, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities, including financial statements and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between internal and external records, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Create and monitor cash flow projections, prepare cash call and distribution instructions.
  • Provide internal and external audit support, gathering and collecting financial information.
  • Assist in the accounting of acquisitions and dispositions, participating in due diligence as required.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of team deliveries.
  • Contribute to process improvements and participate in special projects to advance best-in-class capabilities and service excellence.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Partial or completion of Professional accounting designation (CPA) is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in private equity, funds, or real estate.
  • Competencies and experience in accounting standards, finance, audit, management, and design, implementation, and presentation of advanced financial and business-focused reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Investran, Workiva, and Yardi experience is an asset.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills, working well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
