Your Mission, Roles, and Responsibilities

As part of the FCE Software & Ecosystems Business Unit, the SaaP team specializes in building software products and bringing them to the market. We work with OEMs and third-party software vendor partners.

In this position, the Product Manager will be responsible for executing our product strategy and roadmap based on the existing product portfolio. They will define the output of our Innovation and Development teams and gather feedback from the market.

We expect our Product Manager to travel to customers and tradeshows, leveraging their expertise to position software products in a B2B environment.

With a hands-on approach to defining products and roadmaps, the Product Manager will work closely with Innovation & Development teams on the definition of products, focusing on new products.

The Product Manager will also provide market insight to the global team and participate in the definition of the team's orientations with respect to product definition, roadmap, promotion, and selling activities.

What You Will Do

  • Help shape the product roadmap by playing a key role in the definition of the product vision at the global scale, prioritizing features, communicating, and measuring its success.
  • Deliver on new product definition, introduction, and product portfolio management based on your understanding of the market, driven by measurable metrics.
  • Define measurable metrics for product quality, market penetration, and overall results, which you will use to report on a regular basis within the leadership team.
  • Communicate with the SaaP team and advise on product strategy and licensing opportunities, as well as general progress of your product activities.
  • Animate the existing sales channels for our product portfolio, focusing on software products and their deployment at customers.
  • Survey the market within our industry and assess the competition landscape by networking with customers and partners, including onsite visits, workshops, tradeshows, and events.
  • Participate actively in all product roadmap activities, such as writing requirements, gathering customer feedback, and overseeing marketing campaigns.

Your Profile and Competencies to Succeed

  • 10+ years of demonstrable experience in product management of software products, including product strategy, roadmap development, and feature prioritization, with a track record of successful product launches and the ability to drive product innovation within a B2B environment in a startup or entrepreneurial role.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role with a customer-oriented approach to product development.
  • Proven track record introducing new software products.
  • Strategic planning, creative thinking, and on-time delivery.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working as an autonomous contributor in a distributed team.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to travel to customers and events regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment.

  • Entrepreneurial experience.
  • Knowledge of display, image processing technologies, audio signal processing technologies, AI, including GenAI, and camera and imaging systems.
  • Experience in ASIC/FPGA hardware products, real-time AI products.
  • Additional language: French, German, Chinese, Japanese.
