We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week and be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.

Job Description
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing engine oil and lubricating running gears or moving parts of heavy equipment.
  • Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment.
  • Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators.
  • Provide on-site services to customers.
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
Specialization or Experience
  • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
