Job Summary

Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles, including oil changes, lubrication, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with heavy equipment and vehicles, using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and ensure safe operation.
  • Work safely and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Specialized knowledge of heavy equipment and vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
