The Alliance for Arts and Culture is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to fill the role of Community Art Days Coordinator. This position will play a vital part in planning and coordinating events, as well as developing arts-based programs for youth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Learning and Engagement team to coordinate event details and programming, including artist-in-residence coordination, musical programming, and social media campaigns.
Additional responsibilities include recruiting and training volunteers, managing volunteer teams during signature summer events, delivering creativity camps, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for participants.
This position requires strong organizational and administrative skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to work closely with others. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, specifically those aged 6-12 years old, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build relationships within the community, and contribute to the development of arts-based programs that promote creativity and engagement.
