Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to join our team at Science North. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating education programs and policies, performing administrative tasks, and evaluating curriculum programs to recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education Policy and Programs
    • Develop and implement education policies and programs that align with Science North's mission and goals.
    • Collaborate with education staff to design and deliver high-quality education programs.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Provide administrative support to the education department, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
    • Manage education budgets and resources to ensure effective use of funds.
  • Curriculum Evaluation and Improvement
    • Evaluate curriculum programs to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes.
    • Collaborate with education staff to develop and implement new curriculum programs.
  • Staff Recruitment and Management
    • Recruit and hire education staff to support program delivery.
    • Provide ongoing training and support to education staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Statistical Analysis
    • Conduct statistical analyses to determine the cost and effectiveness of education programs.
    • Use data to inform program development and improvement.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
    • Experience
      • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in education or a related field.
    • Skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
