About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Materials Technology Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for conducting materials testing services on-site for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of Quality Assurance and Quality Control materials testing services on-site for various construction projects;
  • Conducting compaction testing during site grading and backfilling operations, including sampling soil and aggregates for laboratory analysis;
  • Concrete and asphalt sampling and testing for various building and infrastructure projects;
  • Support field staff in investigative work including concrete coring, tensile bond testing, dowel testing, test pit investigations, and site data collection;

Requirements

  • Enrollment in, or graduation from, a civil, geotechnical, or engineering program;
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service communication skills;
  • The capacity and willingness to learn new skills and testing procedures;
  • Access to a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license to carry out Site inspections;
