Join Our Team as a Cloud Transformation Specialist

Badal by TELUS is a rapidly growing GCP consulting company based out of Toronto, acquired earlier this year by TELUS Communications.

We work with GCP's top customers (banking, telco, energy, retail, etc.) to help them with Cloud Transformation, Security, Analytics, ML, and Data Governance.

Clients usually engage us to solve their most challenging business problems and help raise the bar at their organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and manage deployment activities for each sprint
  • Take ownership of the Production pipeline
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
  • Collaborate with client Development and Quality Assurance stakeholders in developing and executing a robust test and release process
  • Facilitate resolution of deployment problems with Development, Quality Assurance, and Technical Operations
  • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement software release process improvements to maximize efficiency
Requirements:
  • Programming experience in Python, Go, or Java
  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Full-Time experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Software Automation
  • Experience with source code version control systems such as Git
  • Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with PolicyasCode (such as OPA)
