Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems on our yachts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Installation: Repair and install electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and switchboards, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of stored materials and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations, including documentation of electrical system layouts and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Work Environment: Confined spaces, dusty, and hot environments.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
