We are seeking a skilled Marine Equipment Electrician to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment on our marine vessels. This includes testing electrical and electronic components, troubleshooting control systems, and ensuring compliance with electrical code specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Maintain, repair, and install switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
  • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
  • Maintain inventory of stored materials
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
  • Tight deadlines and ability to work under pressure
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced marine environment with confined spaces, dusty conditions, and hot temperatures.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
