Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marine Equipment Electrician to work on our marine equipment installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Maintain inventory of stored material.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Work Environment

The work site environment will be confined spaces, dusty, hot, and physically demanding.
