About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Nehal Construction Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit production reports to management on a regular basis.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and milestones.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction site workers and teams.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols on the construction site.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and support to apprentices and junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance staff performance.
  • Recruitment and Staffing
    • Recruit and hire construction site workers and staff members as needed.
    • Ensure all staff members have the necessary qualifications and certifications to perform their duties.
  • Cross-Cultural Training
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
    • Develop and implement training programs to promote cultural awareness and understanding.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
  • Work Environment
    • Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.
    • Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction site supervisor or related role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
