Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing nursing processes and critical thinking skills.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Recent acute care experience in the last 2 years.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-sedentary environment and handle the physical demands of the position.
