Licensed Practical Nurse

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Ensure the safekeeping and control of medications and narcotics, and follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
- Create a comfortable and safe environment that promotes privacy, dignity, autonomy, and individuality.
- Optimize each resident's potential to achieve or maintain maximum functional ability.
- Seek direction from the RN when resident needs exceed your experience or scope of practice.
- Exercise sound nursing judgment by reporting any changes in resident status to the Registered Nurse in a timely manner.
- Foster an atmosphere that promotes optimal care and effective functioning of the assigned resident home area.
- Diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
- Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
- Current First Aid with CPR.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check.
- Long Term Care Experience.
