Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sparkling Hill Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Our resort offers a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
