Job Summary

Under the guidance of our experienced IT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end IT support services. This role involves managing employee hardware and software setup and maintenance, asset tracking, administrative network support, help desk services, and employee training. Additionally, the IT Support Associate will contribute to process initiatives aimed at reducing manual labor by leveraging systems, as well as collaborate on other IT projects outlined by the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain employee equipment, software, and mobile devices with precision and accuracy
  • Oversee inventory management for computer, printer, and accessory assets, ensuring timely refresh cycles
  • Provide expert network support, focusing on firewall security, data protection, and other critical updates
  • Manage and resolve help desk tickets efficiently, guaranteeing timely resolutions
  • Create engaging training sessions for the organization on Office365, basic computer skills, and Power BI
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement efficient system utilization, minimizing manual work and optimizing processes
  • Support ERP system implementations and various IT projects as required
  • Work involves extended periods of sitting and occasional manual labor when setting up IT equipment

Requirements

  • A degree in a related field or equivalent experience is mandatory; relevant certifications may be considered
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with MS Office is essential
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with individuals across all levels of the organization
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently is crucial
  • Highest level of critical thinking and logical reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Experience with Lean Management is a significant asset
  • Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
