Packaging Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Labourer to join our Packaging team at Cascades Canada ULC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting items throughout the plant using powered equipment, checking and weighing materials and products, and sorting, packing, and crating materials and products. They will also assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers, and perform other labouring and elemental activities as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment
- Check and weigh materials and products
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
- Perform other labouring and elemental activities
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Feed and unload processing machines
- Complete reports
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. They will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
